Charity is 11!!!!

I meant to post this a week ago but I didn't...so better late than never.

I can hardly believe it has been 11 years since I gave birth to my first daughter. How she has grown since that day and become a beautiful young woman. Charity loves the Twilight Saga...she is actually totally obsessed! So, of course I encouraged her in her obsession like any good mother would do.
She had a great birthday with lots of Twilight related gifts and music of course. She loves music! She was surrounded by family, lots of family!!!
I am so grateful that Heavenly Father blessed our family with Charity. She is a compassionate and loving daughter. I feel truly privileged to be her mom (I know most of us feel that way about our children; I just felt the need to put it in writing).

My Gracie is 6!!!

This is the outfit I made Grace for her birthday. She picked out the pattern from youcanmakethis.com and she picked out the fabric. I think it turned out cute and it looks adorable on her.
My spunky, adorable, beautiful, ornery, little girl turned 6 today. I can't believe it has already been 6 years. I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with her. It was the day my father passed away. What a bitter sweet day for me. It was not a particularly great pregnancy. I was pretty sick but she was just what I needed at that time in my life. She is so full of life!!! She keeps me on my toes. This little girl loooooves to create, which in turn means she makes a LOT of messes which is sometimes extremely frustrating. I love her creations though. I am so proud of her and am grateful that Heavenly Father entrusted her to our care. I love to watch as the person she is becoming blossoms. Oh, and the reason for the color purple~Grace's favorite color of course!
This is Gracie blowing out her candles; and yes I was totally lame and made cupcakes!
Grace with her Aunt Hope!
Peter kept trying to get in front of the camera every time I took a picture. It was pretty funny because I didn't even know he realized what I was doing!
