Young Women's Handout Manual 1 Lesson 2

This lesson was on the Savior and I just love the lyrics to the song I Stand All Amazed and so that is what I used for the design in the handout this week.

Young Women's Handout Lesson 1 Manual 1

I thought I would make some handouts to go along with the lessons in Young Womens this year. Here is the first one...better late than never.

Here's what I did last Saturday

So last Friday as I prepared my lesson for Young Womens I decided they all needed a personalized journal to go with it. So off to walmart I went Saturday morning to get all the notebooks to decorate. So Saturday night we watched a movie and I got to craft. I had so much fun (except for the million interuptions from Grace and Noel). So here is what I created...

My new calling.....

So after 2 years in the primary presidency I was realeased Sunday. :( I will greatly miss seeing those smiling and not so smiling faces each week. It is going to be a big adjustment for me as I was called to work with the young women. I am very excited for my new calling and know that I will love these girls just as much as I do the primary kids. I am a little intimidated, I have never worked with the youth before. I have been in primary since I was 19. I teach Sunday and am actually looking forward to getting it over with. For me the first couple times of doing something new is the hardest. So feel free to say a prayer for me, I'm sure I will need them. :)
