My boys!

Here is what I did today...
My handsome Christian!! He was starting to get a little shaggy though!
This pic doesn't do his hair justice, but it is really cute all spiked up. It fits his personality perfectly. I just can't get enough of that smile, it just cracks me up!
He hates the flash and I always get goofy pics of him like the one below.
I was able to capture a couple "normal" pics of him after his hair cut.
I cut my kiddos hair (except for the 2 oldest because they actually want a style :)) it saves us a few bucks and is less traumatic for Peter. There is no way he would let someone he didn't know come near him with a comb and scissors. Mostly, it's just the comb that scares him though. I know kind of weird, but he just doesn't like the comb at all. Everytime I ran it through his hair he would start to freak out so I had to just use my fingers a lot of the time which did make it a little more difficult.

17 1/2 weeks

I wasn't going to post this pic because it is horrible!!!! I decided I needed to learn to laugh at myself, so you can go ahead and laugh too! I look huge because of the angle, truly my belly is the same size as last week though you would think it has grown a ton from this pic! All I can say is that is the last time I ask my hubby to take my pic. Good Grief he could have waited until my mouth was shut...maybe that is not an east thing to do though!!! ;)

16 1/2 weeks

I was going to crop my face out because I have just had the worst breakouts with this pregnancy and let's face it no one wants to see that!! bleh
Of course, my little Noel had to pose with me!

Yeah, I am going to be one of those corny women who posts prego. pics on my blog. It is my 7th baby and I have never taken pictures while pregnant (on purpose anyways!) so I thought I would give it a shot.

March Craft Night

OK here is what we are doing...

The tile is for the "lazy crafter" because let's face it, it doesn't get much easier than slapping some vinyl on a tile!

The wooden board is for those who don't mind getting a little paint on their hands!
Here is a supplies list for the tile:
Nothing unless you want to provide your own tile and the dimensions are 8"x10" but the actual dimensions are 7.5" x 9.5"
The cost for the tile $2.00 and the vinyl $2.50
The supply list for the board:
8x10 wooden board routered edges (from Hobby Lobby $2.99 plus there is a 40% off coupon this week)
black paint
sponge brush
antique gel (some people use stain instead) If you want it antiqued.
sand paper to knock edges off
The cost for the vinyl, iron scroll hanger, and sheer black ribbon $5.00

Feeling so much better...

I really am feeling so much better. Hopefully, that means I will be posting fun projects soon. I do feel a little frustrated at this point in my pregnancy. My non maternity clothes still fit, but are definitely getting tighter and the maternity clothes are just too big. Can't wait to be at the stage where I look pregnant instead of just fat! Anyways, enough negativity! I went to the doctors Monday apparently my ticker on the side is off by one day I am 17 weeks and 1 day today and I'll take every single day I can get. I am almost to the halfway point. WOOHOO!!! We brought four of the kiddos to this appointment and that was fun because they got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was a little scary though it took the doctor like 7 minutes to find the baby's heartbeat and I was starting to get worried. Eventually she did find it and it was beating strong! We got to set our ultrasound up and will be getting to sneak a peak at our baby on March 21 (my brother's bday who passed away a year and a half ago). We are super excited to find out if it will be a girl or boy. All the kids will come, but I am going to have the tech. write down the sex of the baby because I want to tell the kids in a more creative way than that.
Well, that is it for now. I will post pics later of what I have been up to. I have been making lots and lots of flowers and baby stuff for my girlfriend who is having twins any day now.

My Hubby Rocks!!

My husband decided to surprise me for Valentine's Day and bring me out to the plaza for dinner. It was lots of fun. Then when we got home he had a little surprise for me a Pandora bracelet w/ all my kiddos initials on it and a bead to represent him. He really is an amazing man, always thinking of me! I really feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful person to spend eternity with. From changing all the poopy diapers while I have morning sickness to making our toilets sparkly clean for me to puke in he really knows how to steal a girls heart!
I LOVE YOU, RUSSELL!!

Crazy Crafters!

OK ladies here are the two types of flowers we are going to do this week. You can google them also and find lots of tutorials on how to make them if you want to find out beforehand how to do it. I know some of you have probably already done these types of flowers and if so come and visit or come and help those ladies that haven't done it before!

Baby booties

So I decided to do a little crafting project tonight because I spent a good portion of the day trying to clean my kitchen and I just needed to veg. I wasn't feeling well (yucky morning sickness still!!!) so I thought this would be a good way to force me to sit and quit cleaning. So I found this awesome pattern and decided to go for it. I was making them for a friend of mine who is having twins but ended up only having only having enough for 1 pair. I guess I will have to find some more fabric for her girls. As I was sewing them my sweet little Noel was of course right there with me.
She wanted to know if they were for our baby girl. I told her we didn't know if it was a girl or boy. She told me she wanted a boy. I explained to her that we get what Heavenly Father blesses us with. That seemed to satisfy her question of boy or girl but, then she told me "you took the little baby and swallowed it so that's how it got in your tummy." Of course I had to stop what I was doing and try not to giggle because she was dead serious. I explained to her that a mom and dad made a baby together. That did not satisfy her! She just kept saying but how. So I stumbled a little and just told her that the dad gives the mom sperm (yes, I used that word) and w/ the mom it makes a baby. She was done after that, my explanation was finally good enough for her. Too funny, because I know she has no idea what that word is. Scroll down and there are a couple pics of the booties I made. I absolutely love them.
