Help with posting stuff on the side of my blog.
Does anyone out there know how to post stuff on the side of their blog. I would like to start posting tutorials and I would like to have them listed in their own category and not just under past posts. If you know and think you could explain it to someone who is computer challenged please email me @ brandigone@hotmail.com thanks!

There are a few ways to do it. The easiest way would be to write up the tutorial. Change the date on it to be say like Jan 1, 2009. This is so it will show up deeper in your blog and not on the first page or as "new" post. To change the date click on "post options" right above the orange publish button. Once the post is ready to be publish then publish it.
ReplyDeleteAfter it's been publish you can make a link list. Choose the link list gadget to add to your blog. You can name the link list whatever you want (for example I have one on my blog name My followers sites). You also can have multiple link list on your blog.
You then can make links to individual post on your blog (or other site) using the link list gadget. For example if you wanted this post to be in the link list then you would use this URL: http://justthe8ofuslynns.blogspot.com/2009/07/help-with-posting-stuff-on-side-of-my.html
Clicking on the title of your post will give you that posts URL. Does that help? Or do you need more of an explanation?
